Gasoline prices continue to rise

The price of regular gasoline continues to grow — averaging an increase of 4.8 cents per litre, per month so far this year.According to a statement from the Ministry of Finance, the maximum retail price for gasoline at the pump on April 16 was 220.50 cents per litre, up 4.6 cents from the month prior.While the price of diesel and kerosene decreased for the first time this year.Motorists paid 194.6 cents per litre for diesel in the last month, down 2.3 cents, and 168 cents per litre for kerosene, down 1.3 cents.Prices at the pump for regular gasoline this year have been:January: 206.50 cents per litreFebruary: 211.70 cents per litreMarch: 215.90 cents per litreApril: 220.50 cents per litre
