Work. What does the word work mean to you?
The true way to succeed in life, in your profession, or in your vocation is through hard work.
There are no easy ways, no shortcuts, and certainly there are no magic wands! Many of you follow one form of sport or another.
The successful athletes train hard, practice hard and often, and hone their skills so that they become the best that they can be. We are no different in our daily work; we have to practice what we need to do in order to be highly productive, efficient, and successful.
Steady progress is what we are all after. In this way we can improve not only our own quality of life but that of those around us. Assess yourself this week to determine whether or not you can make improvements in your work habits and make your own and others lives better.
“There are no secrets to success. It is the result of preparation, hard work, learning from failure.” — Colin Powell
