JLT Re expansion welcomed

JLT Reinsurance Brokers Limited (JLT Re) expansion in Bermuda was welcomed by JLT PARK, a Bermuda broking operation in the fields of property, casualty and professional liabilities, healthcare and construction.

In a press release, Paul Scope, chairman and CEO of JLT PARK, said: "Since 2008, we have been working with Alan Griffin and Bradley Maltese of JLT Re in establishing a meaningful reinsurance practice in Bermuda. For the past two years we have enjoyed a collaborative relationship with Gary Reynolds in our shared offices. We now look forward to Charles Withers-Clarke bringing his expertise to the team."

Bradley Maltese Board Director of JLT Re commented "Charles joins JLT Re Bermuda in excellent shape and ready to build on its success. Gary Reynolds is now in his third year at JLT Re Bermuda and his experience and expertise on Property Cat & Industry Loss Warranties (ILW’s) has significantly helped in our progress. Gary works collaboratively on ILW's with colleagues in New York and London for a truly global team response. A year on year increase in business in this area has proved that this approach works.

“Charles not only brings 10 years of experience on Bermuda to JLT Re but also his wealth of knowledge of cross classes. His background in aviation and other speciality classes is aligned with JLT Group’s speciality focus. Charles and Gary together will boost JLT Re Bermuda not only at a time when we are expanding our global footprint but also when there is plenty of change in the broking world."
