A computer glitch at Butterfield Bank’s online banking service meant some customers were unable to log on.The problem started on Monday night — but a bank spokesman said yesterday afternoon the problem had been fixed.The spokesman added: “Butterfield Online was not down, but the service, intermittently, had capacity limitations.“A problem with one of the host servers affected how many users could log on at one time.“The issue has now been resolved.”
