Luxury apartments a magnet for renters
The most luxurious city apartments to ever come on the market in Bermuda have nearly all been rented out.Of the seven apartments at the new Waterloo House office and residential complex on Pitts Bay Road, only three remain.The lavish apartments are renting for as much as $14,000 to $20,000 a month.“Waterloo House continues to maintain its position as Bermuda’s premier waterfront address, said Rego Sotheby’s International Realty’s Penny MacIntyre.“After only four months on the market, 60 percent of the residential units have been rented by people keen to enjoy the prestigious property and its accompanying amenities.“Of the seven units, only three remain.”There are two three-bedroom and one two-bedroom luxury apartments still available to rent, she said.The average size of the remaining available residential units ranges between 3,200 square feet up to 4,100 square feet and facilities include a resident’s lounge and roof terrace which incorporate a fitness centre, kitchen and outdoor barbecue station.The apartments feature high-end stainless appliances, including dishwasher and wine fridge.Each duplex unit has a vast terrace accessed from the living area through ‘folding glass doors’ by Solar Innovations that allow for indoor-outdoor living and views of the harbour.The three remaining units are available to rent from $15,000 and $18,000 per month.Boat berths are available for rent directly in front of Waterloo House and there is a building concierge and private residents’ elevator.
