TBi has hailed the results of the Regulatory Authority survey on internet service in Bermuda.“In five short months after being issued an ICOL, a recent independent survey conducted by Mindmaps for the Regulatory Authority indicated TBi has not only acquired a reported 7 percent share of the ISP market but has been rated number one among residents most satisfied with their Internet Service Provider,” TBi said in a statement.TBi president Greg Swan continued: “TBi customers were also rated most willing to recommend their Internet Service Provider over their rival ISP’s.“We wish to first thank all of our loyal subscribers for supporting us and thank Bermuda generally for being patient during this period of Regulatory Reform. As stated when we launched in May, we are committed to providing great value for money for all Bermuda residents and we firmly believe that giving the customer the flexibility to pick and choose their carrier of choice keeps us on our toes to make absolutely certain we are providing a quality service and best value for money.”He added: “We were all humbled within TBi when we read the results of the survey. We have worked hard over the past five months and there is still a lot of work left to be done. Our commitment to our customers is paramount; if our customers are happy so are we.”“In reviewing the results of the survey, to be rated highest among Internet Service Providers in the categories of Residents most satisfied with their Internet Service Provider as well as Residents most willing to recommend their Internet Service Provider, lets us know we must be doing something right.“When we decided to deviate from the norm and roll out the service with no contracts we knew our commitment to customer service and network quality would be critical to obtaining market share. Thus far, based on these results, we seem to be on the right track.”
