AM Best Co. has withdrawn the financial strength rating of A (Excellent) and the issuer credit rating of “a” of American Safety Reinsurance, Ltd. (AS Re).Making the announcement, A.M. Best stated: “The recent sale of AS Re to Catalina Holdings (Bermuda) Ltd severs the interactive rating services provided by A.M. Best for rating coverage on AS Re; therefore, the associated ratings have been withdrawn for administrative purposes.”
