Appleby was appointed the exclusive Island member firm of Lex Mundi, a leading international network of law firms, after a vote by its board of directors.
Kieran Bell, managing partner in Bermuda, said: “Our Lex Mundi membership will enhance our ability to serve our clients and contribute to their success, particularly our clients with global operations.
“We look forward to working with Lex Mundi’s outstanding member firms around the world.”
Lex Mundi president Car Anduri added: “Lex Mundi is pleased to welcome Appleby as the exclusive member firm for Bermuda.
“The firm has an unmatched reputation for client service and its lawyers are recognised leaders in their fields of practice.
“With the addition of Appleby, we expand the knowledge and experience available through Lex Mundi’s outstanding member firms around the world.”
Lex Mundi has member law firms in more than 100 countries, with selection based on their leadership and commitment to its local market.
Member firms, which number one in each jurisdiction, must maintain their standards to retain the Lex Mundi seal of approval.
