Hang onto that Christmas spirit

Hope. At this Christmas time we all witness a profound change in the attitudes of people on the streets of our communities. Everyone seems to be looking forward to the holidays and are full of smiles.

Everyone speaks and all seem to project a more positive attitude. These feelings also project a strong sense of hope for the future and what it might bring to each and every one of us.

It's a pity that we cannot bottle these feelings and consume them each and every day of the year. Our futures are always ahead of us and what we each do with every day creates that future.

The key is for all of us to seize these opportunities and build a stronger tomorrow for all. As you celebrate Christmas with your families and friends this week take a moment to not only be thankful for what you have but commit yourself to making the very best of all of your tomorrows. This would be the very best gift ever!

Merry Christmas and a Happy New Year to all.

“Too many times we stand aside And let the waters slip away ‘Til what we put off ‘til tomorrow Has now become today So don't you sit upon the shoreline And say you're satisfied Choose to chance the rapids And dare to dance the tides” - Garth Brooks
