Deloitte Ltd will be hosting an Institute of Risk Management (IRM) Webinar entitled “Understanding and Managing Risk Culture” tomorrow evening.

The webinar, which is presented by Dr Simon Ashby, of Plymouth Business School and chairman of the Institute of Operational Risk, will be screened from 5.30-7.30pm, at the Deloitte office at 20 Parliament Street.

It examines what we mean by “risk culture” and what good risk culture looks like. Embedding risk management into an organisation to the extent that it reliably makes a difference is a difficult task, Deloitte states.

The webinar looks at how boards must keep risk high on their agenda and continue to ask themselves whether they have the right culture, people and processes.

IRM has developed guidance for organisations wanting a greater understanding of their own risk culture and practical tools that can be applied to drive change.

The one-hour webinar, which was first broadcast in March 2015, will be followed by refreshments hosted by Deloitte.
