Legal firm Appleby is to host its annual summer reception for law students on Wednesday.

The event is designed to allow students to meet up with established professionals and their peers.

During the event, students will also learn about the Appleby pupillage programme, which involves four six-month stints in a variety of practice areas.

Appleby lawyers will also outline the firm’s legal education scholarship scheme for Bermudian students.

Appleby managing partner Tim Faries said: “The reception is a great opportunity for the students to learn more about working at Appleby and expand their network.

“We are looking forward to welcoming the students and witnessing the talent of our Bermuda youth.”

The reception will be held at Appleby’s offices in Hamilton’s Victoria Street between 5.30pm and 7pm.
