Logic reports e-mail problems now fixed
Internet service provider Logic says its e-mail services are back to normal after problems caused by hardware failures at the beginning of the month.
In a statement, the company said it has repaired its @northrock.bm address e-mail services for subscribing customers.
This follows critical hardware failures on September 4 that resulted in the loss of e-mail availability for customers with @northrock e-mail addresses. Services were partially restored the following day, but with degraded service.
At the weekend Logic engineers began replacing the affected hardware and completed the work on Sunday morning, according to the company.
In its statement, Logic said: “Any customers still experiencing difficulties with their e-mail service might require assistance with login credentials or settings on certain devices.
“These customers are encouraged to call the Logic help centre at 296-9600 and speak to a technical agent. Their hours of operation are Monday to Friday, 8.30am — 7pm and Saturday 9.30am — 5pm.”
Logic said it is making every effort to improve customer experience and to continue delivering quality services to the people of Bermuda.
It added: “We apologise for this outage and any inconvenience it may have caused.”
