Shares of Devonshire Industries Ltd improved by 25 cents, or 4.5 per cent, to close at $5.75 after 900 traded on The Royal Gazette/BSX Index.

A total of 55 shares of BF&M Ltd, and 5,000 shares of Butterfield Bank also changed hands, but with no change to the closing price of either stock.

On the New York Stock Exchange, shares of Butterfield Bank were up 12 cents, or 0.31 per cent, at $38.41.

The Royal Gazette/BSX Index edged up 0.1 of a point to 2,188.45.

The BSX Insurance Index was 15.37 points higher, or 15.37 per cent, at 1,874.14.
