Rumours that Wayne Caines has been hired by Ascendant Group have been firmly denied by the company.Ascendant responded to a question from The Royal Gazette yesterday about claims circulating on social media that the former Minister of National Security had joined the parent company of power utility Belco. Ascendant stated: “Ascendant Group Ltd does not typically comment on confidential employee matters. “However, as there is speculation in the community around the hiring of a current Member of Parliament, it is incumbent on the company to state that there is no truth to these rumours.”
