Bermuda Maritime Museum at Dockyard See exhibits: 500 years of local history and culture on display in military buildings of the 6-acre Keep citadel, including the award winning restored Commissioner’s House. Bastions, cannons, shipwreck artifacts, local watercrafts, maritime art, spectacular views and dolphin encounters are all found in Bermuda’s largest fort.
New exhibits include: ‘Hulks at Bermuda- Images of Convict Life and Labour’, in association with the Bermuda National Archives featuring watercolours from the Fay and Geoffrey Elliott Collection and convict related artifacts. ‘Progress of Power-The Story of Electricity in Bermuda’, commemorates over a century of electricity in Bermuda and explores the challenges of electric generation and supply in one of the world’s most remote maritime communities.
