Fairmont Hamilton Princess’ popular outdoor Happy Hours are back for another season starting tonight.

This is the sixth year that the well-attended social event has been held on the hotel’s lawn overlooking Hamilton Harbour.

This year, however, the hotel is promising that Happy Hour will go on “rain or shine” every Friday night.

In inclement weather, Happy Hour festivities will be held inside the hotel.

“We’re pleased to be celebrating the start of the summer with our popular Happy Hour,” said hotel food and beverage director Norman Gardener.

“We know the public wants to take advantage of the warmer weather by having a few drinks outside on a Friday evening and we look forward to welcoming anyone who wants to join us to the Fairmont Hamilton Princess. It’s going to be a fun event.”

This year Happy Hour will offer top-notch musical entertainment — alternating weekly between a live band and a DJ.

There will also be a BBQ stand on hand selling hamburgers and hot dogs to hungry revellers. Happy Hours will continue at the hotel every Friday until November 16.
