Shots on the Rock, May 22, 2007

L-R James Robinson and Neil Burnie

The Royal Gazette is brining back Shots on the Rock to highlight the variety of social events on offer across the Island. Every week it will profile an establishment or event.

Last week we visited Live in the Gardens at the Masterworks Museum of Bermuda Art in the Botanical Gardens for its Friday night happy hour. The weekly event is thrown by Volcanic productions and showcases local and international musicians and is sponsored by Bacardi and the Department of Tourism. For more information visit www.volcanic.bm

The scene> More relaxed than some of the Island’s other happy hours this evening is for people interested in listening to good music and taking a peak at artists on show at Masterworks. There is food on hand, with vendors changing every week, and the Fever Train picks you up on Front Street and delivers you at the Gardens every half hour. The event is free, and so is the train ride.

The style is Causal
