Find relief for migraine pain
Dear Dr. Gott: I read your recent column requesting feedback on a migraine product called MigreLief. Let me tell you my experience with the product.I’ve been a migraine sufferer for years and have tried most drugs and remedies. Several months ago, a friend suggested I try a product called MigreLief that contains magnesium, riboflavin and feverfew. I have had an excellent experience with this product and suggest it to others.
My migraines are much less frequent, and, when I do get one, it is not as bad as before. I will continue to use this product since I have had such a positive response from taking it.Dear reader> MigreLief is designed specifically for people who suffer from migraine headaches. The recommended dose is two capsules per day. At that level, you receive 33 milligrams magnesium, 400 milligrams riboflavin and 100 milligrams of a specific form of feverfew, which is an herb. The medication has been reported to cause diarrhoea in some people, and riboflavin will change the colour of your urine to a fluorescent yellow.
So far, I have received very little response about this remedy, and I welcome input from other readers. Thank you for writing.
To give you related information, I am sending you a copy of my newly updated Health Report “Headaches”.

Be sure to mention the title.Dear Dr. Got$> I read your column regularly. The letter asking about poison ivy really hit home. Being a farmer in Louisiana, I am regularly in contact with poison ivy, and I am susceptible.
The hotter the temperature, the more potent the poison ivy irritant seems to be. Only in the last two hears have I had absolute relief. My brother, a physician, gave me a sample tube of Zanfel. I followed the directions exactly, and the results were immediate.
Apparently, Zanfel neutralizes the chemical irritant. One or two applications and the itch goes away. Everyone I have told about it cannot thank me enough. It is an over-the-counter drug and costs about $33 to $38 a tube.
Dear read<$> Before receiving your letter, I had not heard of Zanfel. Your experience is new to me, but I am passing it on to other interested readers. Thank you for writing.
Dear Dr. G:<$> On my last visit to see my doctor, he brought up the fact that I’m still on doxycycline my periodontist prescribed eight to ten years ago. I quarter a 100 milligram tablet and take a piece twice a day. Should I say anything to my periodontist when I visit him next month? I’m a 68-year-old male smoker with periodontal disease.
Dear rer:<$> There is no medical reason for you to continue the chronic low-dose use of antibiotic therapy. In my opinion, you should discuss this situation with your periodontist. Perhaps there is another therapy that would be more appropriate and effective without the risk of bacterial resistance to antibiotics.
