The wedding of Arnette Lawes and Kenneth Matthew took place on August 21, 2005, at St. Anne's Church in Southampton.

The bride is the daughter of the late Sybil and Arnold Drake Lawes of 24 Roberts Avenue, Devonshire West.

The groom is the son of Mrs. Whynona Hassell and Mr. Kenneth Matthew.

The bride was given away by Mr. Peter Hebberd and Mr. Arnold White.

The bride's gown was from R. K. Bridal of New York. The flowers were by El Shaddai Florist, Middle Road, Warwick.

The maid-of-honour was Miss Cindy Laws. her gown was from R.K. Bridal of New York. Her flowers were also from El Shaddai Florist.

The bridesmaids were Calte Grimes, daughter of the bride, Sharon Bean, cousin of the bride and Constance Gaiton, sister of the bride.

The bridesmaids' gowns were from R. K. Bridal of New York. Their flowers were from El Shaddai Florist.

Attire of groom's mother from Crown Colony.

The flower girls were Vennessa Viera and Senecia Smith. The page boy was Kiandae Lawes, the grandson of the bride.

The officiating Minister was Rev. Joseph Manchester.

The organist was Mr. Lloyd Matthew.

Music was by solist Biggie Irie and Tropic Heat Band. There was a a music selection by Mr. Michael Taylor. Also music by Mr. Dana Rawlins, Ice Man and Place's Gombeys.

The church decorations were by Exquisite Designs and Productions.

The best man was Clinard Gaiton ? brother in law.

The ushers were Eric Richburg, Mr. Allan Anderson and Mr. Burton Cox ? brother of groom.

The horse and carriage was from Shiloh Stables.

The bride and groom jumped the broom at the reception at Hawkins Island, to which guests travelled by boat from BIC. The bridal party party boat was by Destiny Charters.

Hair by Lechic ? Ms. Angela (Twiggy) Dill. Make-up by Donna Smith.

The couple spent their honeymoon in St Lucia.

Their future home is in Cox's Hill, Pembroke.
