The Bermuda TB, Cancer & Health Association is having a fun walk in honour of breast cancer awareness month. The Bermuda Biological Station for Research (BBSR) presents ‘Divine Wind: The History and Science of Hurricanes,' a public lecture by Dr. Kerry Emanuel, one of the world's leading hurricane experts. EXHIBITIONS

Bermuda National Gallery: Opening September 30 will feature the work of 19th century photographer John Athill Frith in co-operation with the Bermuda Archives. There will also be a special exhibition of Bermudian artist Bill Ming's work. Mr. Ming was awarded the Lost at Sea Memorial commission. The exhibit ends on January 6. Bermuda Society of the Arts: Night time is the theme of the Open Members Show and Bruce Stuart is the featured artist. The Edinburgh Gallery will feature the BAMZ Photo Competition. Both shows close on October 5. Further information: ( 292-3824.
