was called to the Bar on Friday, October 24, 2003 before Mr. Justice Ian Kawaley in a courtroom filled to capacity with family and friends. She was proposed by her Pupil Master Mr. Michael E. Smith of Smith & CO. Barristers and Attorneys.

Kristie was educated in Bermuda at Paget Primary School, Warwick Academy and the Bermuda College. She subsequently attended Acadia University in Nova Scotia where she earned her Bachelor of Arts Degree in Economics; the University of Wales at Cardiff, where she earned her LLB (Honours) Degree; and the University of the West of England where she completed the Legal Practice Course enabling here to be admitted as a Solicitor in England and Wales.

Kristie attends New Creation Worship Center where she is a member of the liturgical dance team. She is also an avid reader and she is keenly interested in travel and foreign language studies.

Since joining Smith & Co. in October 2002, Kristie has focused primarily on Corporate, Commercial and Intellectual Property Law.Kristie is the daughter of Lloyd and Roseclaire Rayner of Morgan?s Road in Warwick.
