Mr. and Mrs. Vincent Outerbridge are pleased to announce the engagement of their daughter Tiffany Shana Marie Outerbridge to Shaki Whitter, son of Mr. and Mrs. Wayne Mouchette and Mr. Cecil Lewis. A July 2005 wedding is planned.Matthew William Fox graduated from Devry University with a Bachelor of Technology (Electronics Engineering) on October 24 in Mississisauga, Ontario, Canada. Present at the graduation ceremony were his mother Lise Fox, Uncle Romeo Pitcher, Aunt Toni Fox, girlfriend Loni Chilton and friend Sean Caisey.

Graduation

Matthew William Fox graduated from Devry University with a Bachelor of Technology (Electronics Engineering) on October 24 in Mississisauga, Ontario, Canada. Educator recognised

Henry M. Sutton has been recognised as an Outstanding Course Leader by the American Institute for CPCU and the Insurance Institute of America, national educational organisations headquartered in Malvern, Pennsylvania. This recognition is based on his having taught insurance and financial services courses whose students passed the national certifying examination at a level that met or exceeded the national pass ratio for that exam.

Outstanding course leaders such as Mr. Sutton combine their expertise in the course content with effective learning activities and personal concern for their adult students. They provide a class structure that facilitates individual learning and an environment that supports academic success. Mr. Sutton is among those special people who have been able to provide a positive learning experience for his students.

He and other course leaders, for the most part, hold full-time jobs and teach insurance courses part-time because they are committed to the professional development of their colleagues.

Mr. Sutton serves as a senior underwriter at the Bermuda branch of Converium Ltd.

He is a graduate of Acadia University in Wolfville, Nova Scotia, where he earned a Bachelor's degree in Business Administration. He also attended Webster University in St. Louis where he earned his Master's degree. He received the Chartered Property Casualty Underwriter (CPCU) professional designation from the American Institute for CPCU. From the Insurance Institute of America, he earned the Associate in Reinsurance (ARe) designation.

Mr. Sutton lives in Bermuda.

Accepted

Dr. Donald McGregor, president of Johnson & Wales University's Florida Campus, announced that Jeval Douglas from Devonshire has been accepted into the College of Business. Nearly 1,000 freshmen students enrolled this fall in the College of Business, College of Culinary Arts and the Hospitality College. The academic year 2004-2005 officially started September 7, 2004.

Johnson & Wales - America's Career University - was founded in 1914. It is a private non-profit accredited institution offering undergraduate and graduate degree programmes in business, food service, hospitality and technology. With an enrolment of more than 15,000 students, Johnson & Wales is based in Providence, Rhode Island and maintains campuses in Charleston, South Carolina, Norfolk, Virginia, North Miami, Florida, Denver, Colorado, and Charlotte, North Carolina.

Graduation

Elizabeth Cattell, daughter of Cathy and Eddie Cattell of Smith's Parish, graduated in July 2004 from the University of Bath with a Bachelor of Science degree (Hon.) in Natural Science. Elizabeth is a 1999 graduate of the Bermuda High School and a 2001 graduate of Malvern College in England where she obtained her International Baccalaureate diploma.

Elizabeth returned to the University of Bath in October and is presently pursuing a Master's Degree in Management.

Graduation

Brian Peter Rosorea, son of the late Peter and Barbara Rosorea of Warwick Parish graduated in July 2004 from the Wright Institute in Berkeley, California, with a Doctoral Degree in Clinical Psychology (Psy. D.).

Dr. Rosorea is currently completing his Post-Doctural clinical work with refugee populations and victims of torture at Survivors International, a San Francisco based non-profit agency.
