Caiseys to reschedule concert
l Organisers of the all-star Caisey family concert, 'The Lineage of Eliza Joynes,' which was postponed on Sunday, September 9 due to hurricane Erin, confirm that the event is being rescheduled, and a new date is expected to be announced shortly. People who purchased tickets for September 9 are asked to hold on to them as they will be honoured on the new date. The purpose of the concert remains the same: to raise funds towards the medical expenses of Rodericka Pitcher, a student at Warwick Academy who is being treated for cancer.

According to American playwright, director and producer Tom Coash, who is organising the event, anyone is welcome to enter. Plays should be of one act and of 15 minutes duration. The deadline for entries is December 15, and finalists will be chosen by a play-reading committee. Winners will be announced in January, 2002 with rehearsals following shortly thereafter.
For the benefit of beginners, a special playwriting workshop directed by Mr. Coash will be held at Daylesford Theatre tomorrow from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. at a cost of $10. For further information telephone Mr. Coash at 292-8253 or e-mail him at jcoashbercol.bm
