I cannot think of just one memory. The first few that come to mind is me running around the pool in my bathing suit wearing my dad's Budweiser bucket hat, playing baseball in the backyard while he taught me how to pitch.

As my dad had two girls, one of us was going to grow up playing sports. Another fond memory was when he would watch our favourite Walt Disney movies with my sister and I every Sunday afternoon and no matter how many times we had seen the Parent Trap, he would be right there with us.

The best thing about my father is that he trusts my judgment more than anyone else I know. The fact that he has so much faith in me and my character makes me confident in my decisions and enables me to take accountability for myself ? something that I am glad to have learned early on.

Nothing has changed really. I have lucky that my father and I have always had a good relationship, I suppose the only difference is that I am grown up now and possibly better behaved. But all in all, I will always be Daddy's Little Girl.
