A New Year's Eve dinner and concert featuring American Idol finalist George Huff has been cancelled.

The Black Tie Dinner and Concert at the Fairmont Southampton was organised by KDB Entertainment in association with the hotel.

A KDB spokesman said: "All tickets purchased will be immediately refunded from wherever the tickets were purchased. I am disappointed, but that's how it goes sometimes."

The concert was going to feature the music of Jimmy Vali & The Uptown Mix, Khalilah Smith and American Idol finalist George Huff, with part proceeds to go to Mr. Huff's family who lost everything during Hurricane Katrina in New Orleans.
