Good Friday Kite Festival is on

The annual United Bermuda Party Good Friday Kite Festival at Horseshoe Bay is set again for March 29th.

Organiser of this year's event, Sherri Symons said that on average the Good Friday Kite Festival attracts over 6,000 residents and visitors. “This year, as in the past, Spanish Town International will be coordinating a diverse line-up of local entertainment that will last throughout the day,” she said.

“In addition to the usual children's games, fun-castle, face painting, and kite competition; this year we are happy to welcome Bermuda's ‘fishcake kings' Dale Butler and Rodney Smith who will be on hand to provide samples of their delicious fare.”

Kite registration will take place between 10.00 am - 1.15 pm with judging to follow. Kites must be traditional Bermudian designs.
