Health seminars to be held

Due to the success of the 'Healing the Errors of Living' health and wellness workshops held in October 2002, Dr. Lance Webb, Chiropractic doctor, acupuncturist, naturopath and anti-ageing specialist will be back in Bermuda to hold a second series of health workshops.

Accompanying Dr. Webb during this visit will be Ra Un Nefer Amen, internationally renowned author, speaker, composer, educator and founder of the Nile Valley Mall distribution company.

This will be Ra Un Nefer Amen's first appearance in Bermuda. The two will present three public workshops to be held on February 2, 6, and 7 under the title of 'Healing the Errors of Living - Part 2'.

On Sunday, February 2, a workshop, entitled 'Healthy Heart' will be given at 5 p.m. at the Bermuda Industrial Union in the Dr. E. F. Gordon Memorial Hall room.

Dr. Webb will lecture on assisting individuals to maintain cardiovascular health, while also providing key information on reversing the effects of high blood pressure, coronary artery disease/Angina, strokes, heart attacks and arteriosclerosis.

On Thursday, February 6 at 7 p.m., Ra Un Nefer Amen will present a workshop on 'Optimising Your Health'. The lecture will cover the need for nutritional supplements, what the daily requirements of taking vitamins and minerals are, as well as how to maintain vitality through the use of nutritional supplements. This workshop will also be held at the BIU in the Dr. E.F. Gordon Memorial Hall room.

The final Ra Un Nefer Amen workshop will be held in the New Hall at the Bermuda College on Friday 7th February 2003 at 7pm. This workshop is entitled 'Transcending Anger, Fear and Stress' and aims to teach individuals how to challenge their fears and eliminate stress from their lives through a natural approach. The lecture will also provide individuals with techniques on how to effectively deal with situations that will normally cause anger or fear, and methods that will assist all individuals achieve deep relaxation in any given situation.

Dr. Webb holds a Doctorate in Chiropractic Medicine from the National College of Chiropractic, as well as a Bachelor of Science in Human Biology from the same institution. He also holds a Bachelor of Science in Behavioural Sciences/Psychology from the United States Air Force Academy, and completed graduate studies in Clinical Psychology (University of Arizona), Counselling Psychology (Northern Colorado University), and Elementary Education (University of Chicago).

In addition, Dr. Webb holds certification in Homeopathic Homotoxicology and Anti-Aging Medicine having achieved post-graduate training in Classical Homeopathy and completed Diplomat Studies in Diagnosing and Treating Internal Disorders (Texas College of Chiropractic Medicine). Dr. Webb is currently the director of the Hetep Ra Longevity Center in Chicago, Illinois.

Ra Un Nefer Amen is a prolific author and composer. Over the past 30 years, his health and wellness tapes, CDs, and books has helped thousands of people throughout the world as a means of improving the overall qualities of their life.
