Bermuda Magic is celebrating its fifth anniversary with a magical extravaganza.

The Faces of Magic Show opens tonight at the City Hall Theatre and ends on Sunday.

Bermuda Magic chief executive officer O'Brian Roberts said they will once again feature young Bermudian magicians alongside international entertainers, Chris Linn and Peter Gossamer.

Mr. Roberts said Mr. Linn is an award winning, all round, magical performer.

"He has entertained audiences within the ages of nine to 90 all around the world," he said, "This year he brings his unique magical illusions, audience participation and offbeat comedy to Bermuda's City Hall in a fast paced show that goes beyond the boundaries of typical magic act.

"Mr. Gossamer is considered a pioneer in magic because of his original concepts and fresh approach to the art of illusion.

"With appearances that range from the stage to cruise ships, major show rooms and television "Live with Regis and Kathy Lee", his fantastic feats of magic make him a favourite with all audiences."

Mr. Roberts added that the young magicians all started at the annual Magic Workshop, which is held each year in August. They also have monthly meetings through the Specialised Youth Arts Charity #679.

"The young magicians collectively go by the name of 'Vanishing Acts'," he said. This gives our young performers a tremendous opportunity to showcase the talents learned during the year."

Mr. Roberts ended by saying the family oriented shows will feature outstanding magical entertainment and the participation of the overseas artists, will bring world class magic to the show.

Tickets are $20 and can either be bought from The Annex Toys or www.boxoffice.bm. Tonight's show starts at 8 p.m., and tomorrow and Sunday the evening showing is at 6 p.m. while the matinees are at 2 p.m. on both days.
