Midons graduate

Stephanie Caitlin Midon graduated from the Groton School in Massachusetts on June 1, 2003. She was a recipient of The Anita Andres Rogerson Dance Prize, awarded by the Headmaster for excellence in dance.

During her time at Groton, Stephanie was a student tutor, an admissions guide, and was appointed Catholic Prefect and Dormitory Prefect. As a member of the Girl's Varsity Crew Team for three years, she competed in the Royal Women's Henley Regatta at Henley-on-Thames as a junior and recently received a silver medal at the New England Championships.

As a senior, Stephanie was nominated Assistant Photo Editor of the Circle Voice, after serving on the newspaper for three years, and was the head of the Art History Club, which was founded.

Stephanie is the daughter of Mr.and Mrs. William J. Midon of Fairylands and the granddaughter of Mr.and Mrs. Martin K. Cusack of Paget. She received her primary education at Mount Saint Agnes Academy and will attend Georgetown University in Washington, D.C. this autumn.

Hilary Cusack Midon of "Westcliffe," Fairylands received a Master of Arts Degree in Clinical Mental Health Counseling with a Holistic Specialization from Lesley University in cambridge, Massachusetts on May 19,2003.The sixty-credit program included internships over two academic years at McLean Psychiatric Hospital in Belmont,MA and at the Lowell Adult Dat Treatment Center north of Boston, where she was part of a team responsible for group and individual therapy for a predominantly chronic population. Prior to her three and a half years at Lesley, Ms. Midon attended Tufts University's Graduate Special Student Program for one year, studying child and adolescent development under renowned psychologist Dr. David Elkind. The graduation was attended by her parents, Mr.and Mrs. Martin K. Cusack of Paget, her husband, and her four children.

Keishalyn Brooks, daughter of Doris Riley Brooks graduated magna Cum laude with a Bachelor of Business Administration degree in Information Systems from Howard University on May 10, 2003, in Washington DC.

She is a member of the Golden Key International Honour Society and the National Society of Collegiate Scholars. She has been on the Dean's Honour Roll and was awarded the Howard University Vision 21 Scholar Award for maintaining a GPA, greater than 3.5, as a senior.

She was a member of the Caribbean Students Association, the Computer Based Information Systems Society and the manager of Howard University's Men's Soccer Team.

Keishalyn is a graduate of Warwick Academy. Special thanks to Bermuda Chamber of Commerce ICEA, AON, Bermuda Government, Ministry of Education, Capital G, National Training Board, family and friends for making it all possible.

Michelle Scott graduated from Webster University on June 1 2003 with a Master of Arts in Human resources management.

She was awarded Outstanding Student 2003 and was described by faculty members as "a consummate professional".

In attendance were her sons Deon, Ravi and Jordon, father George D. Scott and wife Gloria, sisters Charlene, Sharon and Beverly, niece Nikkita and friends Patrick, Donna, Patrice and Theresa.
