Sharon and Sheilagh team up for double act

Photo by Meredith AndrewsFriendship art: Sheilagh Head and Sharon Wilson have admired each other's work for a decade. Now they are sharing a gallery together when the open at the Bermuda Art Centre in Dockyard on Sunday.

After more than ten years of admiring each other?s work, two local artists are putting on a show together.

Sharon Wilson and Sheilagh Head will open at the Bermuda Art Centre in Dockyard on Sunday evening.

Their pieces have been described as being personal, poignant and distinctly Bermudian. They also compliment each other by capturing the Island?s people and landscape in their own individual way.

Mrs. Head?s pieces are evocative landscapes, which are a personal interpretation of a Bermuda that is sadly disappearing, while Ms Wilson?s intimate pastels and charcoals celebrate Bermudians at work, at play, and at their most private moments.

The exhibition opens at the Bermuda Arts Centre at Dockyard on May 22 at 5.30 p.m. and is up until July 1.
