Elizabeth Tee's thanks her mother for helping her to believe in herself.

Carole Holding Tee is her mother and Ms Tee said her presence inspired her because, "She had confidence in me that I can do anything I want, and she led by example as a successful business woman and mother.

"My mother gave me a very loving upbringing and my sister (Caroline Troncossi) and I had an opportunity to try many, many things. My mother was always there for us and I am very grateful for that."

Ms Tee, who rings her mother for daily chats, said the best meal that her mother prepares for her is ratatouille and loquat crumble.

Ms Tee's favourite memory of her mother was during their birthday parties.

"Organising fun, themed birthday parties for my sister and I," said Ms Tee.

"With egg sandwiches, cup cakes and a matching cake. One year we played at the castle at the Bermudiana Hotel and my sister and I, who shared our birthday parties, had a matching castle made of marzipan and sponge cake."
