She never wastes a minute of sunshine!
Judy Moniz?s daughter Jessie Moniz tells it like it is:
What is the best memory of your mother?
When I was in school my mother would have Thursday afternoons off. She would usually take my sister and me somewhere after school. We loved to go to the fish pond outside of Tom Moore?s Tavern and feed the fish.
How many siblings do you have?
I have a younger sister, Jodie.
If your mother cooks, what is your favourite meal?
My mother makes the best spaghetti with lots of meat. With half a block of cheddar cheese grated on top it is delicious. I never order spaghetti in restaurants because it never tastes like my mother?s.
What is your mother?s favourite saying?
You?re not pregnant, are you?
How has her presence changed your life or inspired you to be a better person?
My mother?s love of creativity and colour is something that inspires me everyday. My mother has created the most beautiful garden, doing most of the heavy lifting and wheeling herself. She never wastes a minute of sunshine stuck in doors.
What do you do to make her life better on a day-to-day basis?
Iron my clothes, and try desperately to make my clothes coordinate (my mother considers wrinkles and clashing to be sacrilegious, and in general I avoid being a burden on society.
Please add anything else that you think is important.
My mother is the kind of person who always starts a joke by telling the punch-line.
