Christmas Boat Parade from Fairmont Hamilton Princess

10/12/05: The hotel took over the duties of hosting the parade from long-time host the Royal Bermuda Yacht Club. As per usual, boat owners and companies put on a grand show for the crowd.

The scene: It looked like a summertime happy hour save for the really loud chatter over the loudspeakers by the parade commentators. Besides selling drinks, the hotel had lots of warm food on offer. The view of the parade was of course excellent from this spot since many boats came in real close so the judges could check out their artistic expression. The only downside from camping out at the Princess was that the fireworks display was not as easy to view since part of the hotel was in the way.

The Style: Warm sweaters and a few santa hats kept people toasty warm.
