The Bermuda Civic Ballet will mark the end of its summer school for local dancers with a special programme at the Ruth Seaton James Centre for the Performing Arts on Saturday evening.

Billed as "a selection of dances in celebration of the art of dance", the programme will include 'L'Etudes des Saisons' choreographed by visiting instructor Teresa Randall; 'Porcelain' choreographed by 19-year-old Bermudian Ally Lusher and visiting instructor Paulina Jarmula; 'My Shadow' choreographed by Bermudian Eric Bean Jr.; 'Chopin' choreographed by Coral Waddell to piano accompaniment by Johnathan McBeath; and 'Veneziana' choreographed by Pascal Rioult and staged by visiting instructor Brian Flynn.

Bermudian pianist Mr. McBeath will also perform two solo works by Chopin.

Tickets ($30) are available at the Visitors Service Bureau on Front Street from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. daily 295-1727. Curtain time is 7 p.m.
