The Bermuda Philharmonic Society's spring concert which will feature the by LuisBacalov at 8 p.m. at the Ruth Seaton James Center for the Performing Arts. This work will be performed jointly with the choir of Phillips Academy, Andover, Mass., in celebration of the 500th anniversary of the discovery of Bermuda. The Concert will also include works by Beethoven, and the , and the by Saint Saens, featuring Allison Johnston, a teacher with the Menuhin Foundation and the performance of a piano concerto by Mandy Wong. Tickets are $25 for adults and $15 for students and children. Tickets are on sale at the Visitor's Bureau from March 14 to March 18 from 10:00 a.m. to 2:00 p.m. and on the night of the concert.

The Emerald Isle Society is presenting a St. Patrick's Day Dinner & Dance featuring Dermot Carmody, one of Ireland's comedy originals at the Mid-Ocean Club. Bermuda Botanical Society invites the public to a lecture and demonstration on 'Gardening in Containers' at the Visitors' Centre in the Botanical Gardens.
