The Bermuda National Gallery is holding a Bermuda Film Night with a showing of Bermudian Lucinda Spurling's 'Rare Bird', which received a special mention at the Bermuda International Film Festival. A lyrically-filmed cautionary tale about the fragility of existence, this film is based on the true story of Bermuda's first Conservation Officer, David Wingate who, as a 15-year-old, helped rediscover the cahow which had been thought to be extinct for over 300 years.
