Alpha Phi Alpha Fraternity, Inc. is joining with Big Brothers & Big Sisters of Bermuda to organise to hold the MLK Memorial Fund-Raising Walk. The walk aims to raise money for Big Brothers and Big Sisters of Bermuda, and also Alpha's MLK project in Washington, D.C.. which intends to build a monument to honour the legacy of Dr. Martin Luther King, Jr.. The walk will be 5K, and will start from Victoria Park at 2 p.m. There will be music, speeches, fun castles for the kids and much, much more.

Bermuda National Trust "Excerpts from a Family Bible" - Museum Chat with John Cox Verdmont Museum, Smith's. 3 p.m. A family bible, given to John Cox by his grandmother in 1975, recorded the births, marriages, and deaths of the Darrell family of Warwick and later Bailey's Bay. Join Mr. Cox as he delves into the lives of his family and discover the story of one Bermuda family. KPMG Junior Road Running Series 2006 continues with the IAS & Park 5K Race at the Botanical Gardens. Juniors run 1.6K or 3K. Number pick up begins at 8 a.m. The first race is at 9 a.m. The entry fee is compliments of KPMG. The series continues through February and March.
