Bermudian Filmmakers' Showcase The BUEI and Bermudian Filmmakers' Dana Zhyon Selassie and Lucinda Spurling are proud to present three screenings of the locally produced films "Children of the Sea", and "St. Davids, an Island Near Bermuda". These films recently featured at the 2004 Bermuda International Film Festival, and as a result of popular demand will be shown in the Tradewinds Auditorium of the BUEI. These two films weave true tales of our island and highlight the contributions made throughout history. From the beginning of Bermuda's history, the sea has played an important part in day to day life and through the years the population has lived and died according to the whims of the ocean. The documentary film "Children of the Sea" exemplifies this fact through interviews and real accounts of survival by many people involved in boating tragedies - survivors, families, rescue workers and every day boatmen. Doors open at 6 p.m. with showtimes at 6.30. Tickets are $12 and are on sale at the Oceans Gift Shop at BUEI.

Tucker House Mid-18th Century home on Water Street, St. George's.
