A Russian hypnotist will be luring and leading minds into the unknown this weekend as his show gets underway.

Bermuda Magic and Specialised Youth Arts presents The Incredible Boris, a performance combining local talent with that of a world renowned mentalist and hypnotist, at the City Hall Theatre, this weekend.

The Incredible Boris producer O?Brian Roberts said, for the first time, magic will take centre stage with the side-splitting antics of comedy hypnosis in this fundraiser for the Specialised Youth Arts.

?It has been two years since our last hypnotic event, and the public have been asking for its return?, said Mr. Roberts.

?The show features Boris resident of Toronto, Canada, and a native of Moscow, Russia. The Incredible Boris is a versatile mentalist/ hypnotist. His unique style and powerful stage presence will transform the event into an extraordinary experience.

?Audiences will laugh hysterically while being amazed by his fantastic demonstration of mind control.?

Mr. Roberts added that the show is a fast paced adventure and brilliantly choreographed to music.

?Everyone gets involved,? he said. ?Audience members venture into a world of wonders, whose boundaries are only that of imagination. Anything that Boris suggests becomes reality. It is a superb performance filled with intrigue and laughter.?

He added that Boris had dazzled audiences across the United States, Canada, and the Caribbean.

And some of his clients include The Montel Williams Show, Howie Mandel Show, Just for Laughs Comedy Festival and The Arsenio Hall Show to name a few. His network appearances include ABC, NBC, FOX and UPN.

The show will be opened by local Magician Roger Moniz who will be performing his signature stage act that has kept him in the minds of all the event planners, said Mr. Roberts.

?He has honed his skills by participating in Bermuda Magic?s annual magic workshop,? he said. ?Together with the dedicated coaching skills of Regina McCall Daniels and Mike Bishop he has developed into a fine young performer whilst maintaining good grades at Mount Saint Agnes. He will be joined on stage with two equally talented female assistants.?
