UK-based Bermudian reggae artist Clinark Dill will be performing this evening at Snorkel Park.

The artist will be backed by Bermuda's own Home Grown Band at the Reggae Beach Party, which begins at 10.30 p.m.

Since he returned to the Island, he has performed at Cup Match on both days.

It was well worth it as he kept the people entertained in between and during the downpours.

On Thursday afternoon, there was some respite when the sun eventually emerged through the downpour and Clinark braved the mud and went on to the field and wooed the spectators with his song "Beautiful Island", which he dedicated to the Island.

The song that followed was up with 'Life in the Ghetto' another favourite from his live album 'Clinark Live in Holland' recorded in 2006. Clinark's cousin cricketer Janeiro Tucker came up and hugged him after his performance.

On Friday morning the downpour continued on and off, so Clinark was called up by DJ Donovan Furbert to entertain the crowds with a couple of songs including 'Choices (Its Your Life)' from his up coming album, 'Journey.'

Eventually the good weather broke through and Clinark gave the crowd a treat with a rendition of his hit single "Dem Come." Fellow Bermudian singer, Wanda Ray Willis, then followed him.

Clinark said he was surprised when the Premier Ewart Brown came over to his promotional stand and congratulated him on his performance, wishing him well with his career. All this with Clinark's old school friends greeting him, not to mention his old team mates from Southampton Rangers and his many fans.

The cover for the tonight's event will be $10. His CD is available in all local record stored.
