Are you a filmmaker? Here's your big chance to prove it!
The Bermuda International Film Festival has issued a call for entries for its 11th event, coming up March 28-April 5, 2008.
Entries from both Bermudian and Bermuda-based filmmakers are welcomed by organisers. Twenty-five films by Bermudian, or Bermuda-based, filmmakers have screened at BIFF since the festival's inception in 1997.
The deadline for submitting entries is December 1.
Entry forms may be downloaded from BIFF's web site at www.biff.bm.
Films may be submitted in tape or dvd formats.
If selected for screening, they must be made available in 35mm format, unless alternative formats are agreed in advance with festival organisers.
BIFF does not accept films that premiered more than one year before the date of the festival. Works-in-progress are welcome provided the final print is ready by March 1, 2008.
Films that have been commercially released in video format will not be considered.
The mission of the Bermuda International Film Festival is to advance the love of independent film from around the world, and create a community welcoming to filmmakers and filmgoers.
