Liberty goes glam with monthly movie nights

The online fashion magazine, Style Bermuda, will bring glamour to a local movie theatre this Saturday.

Style Bermuda is the fashion, lifestyle and entertainment website owned by Bermudian Shiona Turini, who is an accessories editor for worldwide fashion tome W Magazine.

Starting this Saturday the company will be hosting monthly movie nights at the Liberty Theatre, the first film will be 'Scarface'.

Organiser Mia Chambray said: "The Liberty Theatre will be transformed for guests with fabulous decor, a DJ, models, and a bar and appetizers for cocktail hour. 'Tony Montana' and 'Elvira' look-a-likes will serve cocktails to guests waiting to see a movie that has influenced style and music and is still a classic today.

"As the host location, the Liberty Theatre will offer Bermudians something new, exciting and interesting. With the advancement of technology, moviegoers now have of the option of enjoying films in the comfort of their own home shortly after the theatre releases. Our Fashion & Film series will bring people back into the theatres and greatly enhance the movie-going experience."

The event will start at 6.30 p.m. with a cocktail hour before the movie begins at 8 p.m. Models will be wearing clothes from the internationally renowned Rock & Republic line.
