Four new shows at BSoAFour new exhibitions have just opened in the Bermuda Society of Arts galleries at City Hall. The main Onions Gallery is hosting the members' exhibition of photographs on the theme, 'Shape, Colour and Texture'. Amanda Temple is exhibiting paintings and photography in a collection entitled 'Mixology' in the Edinburgh Gallery, while Stella Shakerchi is showing recent works in Studio A. The exhibition in Studio B celebrates the building of City Hall and the men whose workmanship is reflected in every corner of the landmark building through a pictorial trip down memory lane. Champagne and jazz at BNG

Well-known Bermudian singer Gita Blakeney-Saltus (pictured) will once again take centre stage when the Bermuda National Gallery hosts another of its popular 'Champagne and Jazz' nights on November 30. She will be accompanied by the Tony Bari Trio in what promises to be a sophisticated evening of fine winefrom the cash bar, and entertainment. The event will begin at 5.30 p.m. and tickets ($15 members, $25 others) are available from the Gallery. Reservations (telephone 295-9428) are required.
