Mrs. Sharon Allen is pleased to announce the engagement of her daughter, Erika Christine Allen to Daniel Justin Bouchard. The engagement took place in Montreal where they both reside.

Erika is a former student of Mount Saint Agnes, Gaither High School, University of South Florida and presently a PhD student at Georgia State University completing her dissertation in nineteenth and twentieth- century American literature.

From Montreal , Daniel attended Louis-Philippe-Paré and École de Formation Professionnelle de Châteauguay and is presently employed by Les Placements Jomac inc.

A June wedding is planned in Bermuda

James and Maria Sousa of Pawcatuck, Connecticut are pleased to announce the engagement of their daughter, Joann Sousa, to Nuno Fagundo, son of Francisco and Debora Fagundo of Bermuda.

Joann is a 2003 graduate of Stonington High School. She is receiving a bachelor's degree in early childhood education from Mitchell College in May.

Nuno attended Maria Elizabeth Carmo Medeiros School in the Acores, Portugal. He is currently employed at Johnny Lima Construction in Bermuda.

Joann and Nuno were engaged on January 1. The wedding will be on July 26, 2008. The couple has planned on making Rhode Island their future home
