Schedule change for two weekend films

The Bermuda International Film Festival has re-scheduled the screening of two films that did not make it to the Island in time for scheduled weekend screenings.

'The Ugly Duckling and Me', an animated film for the six and up age group, was to have screened on Saturday at 1 p.m. at Southside Cinema, but a mistake at a courier warehouse in the United States resulted in the film print being shipped to Puerto Rico in error. The film will now screen on Saturday, March 24 at 10.45 a.m. at the Liberty Theatre in Hamilton.

Two screenings of 'Climates', by Turkish director Nuri Bilge Ceylan, were also cancelled after the print did not arrive in Bermuda on time due to the harsh weather in the US northeast, which resulted in the cancellation of flights to the Island. Climates will screen at 9.45 p.m. on Friday in the Tradewinds Auditorium at the Bermuda Underwater Exploration Institute.

In each case, issued tickets will be honoured at the rescheduled screenings.
