Showing appreciation

Gray Robinson is planning to hold an outdoor venture weekend for children in Bermuda as a way of expressing his gratitude for all the support and belief in himself and his project which he has received from Bermuda, his family, friends, sponsors, and organisations, without all of whom he acknowledges nothing would have been possible.

"On June 6 and 7, I will take teams of ten children, at two separate times each day, on a planned, four-hour adventure. It will involve a mini-trek expedition with obstacles and challenges to overcome, as well as kite surf training on the Warick Camp beaches.

"I will teach them to fly the kitesurf replicas of the larger, high-performance kites used in kitesurfing. This will be in a very safe environment, as they will not actually get in the water.

"The only charge will be their smiles. They will need to have a outdoor clothes, sun tan lotion and water. Please telephone 295-1504 if you are interested."
