The banquet was scheduled to be held at Stonington Hotel tomorrow night, with Shadow Education Minister Ms Jennifer Smith as guest speaker.

Proceeds from the $75-a-plate affair were to go to the Bermuda Howard University Alumni Club's scholarship fund.

Tickets were on sale at the 27th Century Boutique and Mokah boutique.
