The Island's latest coalition of carers is getting into the Christmas spirit, while individual charities are also producing their own cards.
The Family Resource Network Charitable Trust -- a group of five separate agencies -- has issued a Christmas card to raise funds to help local families.
The bright festive card was created by an unidentified child whose family received help from the agencies over the past year.
The Family Resource Network Charitable Trust is a newly-formed coalition of the five major family service agencies in Bermuda.
The FRNCT agencies are the Coalition for the Protection of Children, The Institute for Child and Family Care, PARENTS, Physical Abuse Centre and the Fathers Resource Centre.
Together the group provides a variety of services for local families in need like financial and housing assistance, crisis intervention, parent effectiveness training and specialised therapeutic services.
And families will be able to receive their full range of services under one roof at their new location, at the Old Woodlands School on Mount Hill Road in Pembroke.
OH CHRISTMAS TREE -- The new Christmas card to benefit The Family Resource Network Charitable Trust was drawn by one of the children from one of the 450 families served by the Trust over the past year.
