The pair finished the Lands End to John O Groats ride in Britain yesterday morning, after a gruelling two-week pedal covering 1,082 miles of the UK countryside.

They are raising $150,000 for the Masterworks Foundation and spokesman Elise Outerbridge said they finished the route in pouring rain and freezing conditions.

After popping a bottle of champagne the pair decided against a swim.

They are now due to fly from Inverness to London, where they will head back to Bermuda by early next week.

Pledges are still accepted for the ride and all the money will be used by the non-profit making arts and education organisation.
