Artist Sharon Wilson will open the exhibition, which features Bermudian family life in The Generation Game and, also, a timely tie-in with their Valentine Showcase.

Says curator, Mrs. Julie Hastings-Smith: "Our display really does come from the heart of selected artists who were asked to produce a range of mixed media items with a Valentine theme.'' Family members of all ages will be taking part in the mixed media show -- perhaps the youngest being Maria Bain, who is only three-years-old.

"It's hoped that by working with their parents and grandparents, the children of Bermuda will take more of an interest in the world of art and be encouraged to expand their talents,'' adds Mrs. Hastings-Smith.

The Generation Game and the Valentine Showcase will be previewed on Sunday, February 12 at 4 p.m.

The Arts Centre at Dockyard is open Tuesday through Saturday from 10.30 a.m.

to 4.30 p.m. and from 11 a.m. to 4.30 p.m. on Sundays.
